Collage as research - at a Wikipedia conference

The act of making a collage - a visual arts picture assembled from stuff - is a way of letting our brains be active and creative and focused and relaxed. That's my experience anyway! At a conference recently I ran a collage session where people thought about their values and purpose on a subject and then collaged. Conversation was encouraged to emerge between people in no rush, and could wander anywhere. Some of this was about the keynote presentations, some was about their values, or their family. It built relationships between people, and it allowed reflection.
